Preparing your poster

  • Posters will be displayed in portrait format.
  • The dimensions of the poster should not exceed 90 cm wide x 140 cm high.
  • Abstract title, author(s) and affiliation(s) should appear at the top of the poster.
  • The text, illustrations, etc. should be readable from a distance of two meters.
  • Poster boards are laminated. Use double-sided adhesive tape or binder clips to attach your poster to the board. Double-sided adhesive tape and binder clips will be available on-site.
  • Presenters are expected to be present at their posters during the dedicated poster session times, to be determined closer to the conference. The exact location of each poster presentation will be listed in the final program
  • You are responsible for set-up and take down of your own poster. Posters must be mounted by the author(s) and may not be mailed in advance. Unclaimed posters are not the responsibility of the conference organizers, planner, or conference centre staff and will be disposed following the conference. You will be notified of the set up and tear down times closer to the conference.

Oral Presentations

  • Please prepare your presentation in Power Point form. Ratio 16:9

  • All speakers are requested to be present in the lecture room 10 minutes before the session starts to meet with the session chair. Please, do not come at the last minute with your own computer into the lecture room: you will NOT BE ABLE to connect it. All presentations must be downloaded in the SPEAKERS´ READY ROOM beforehand or uploaded to the USB stick.

  • If using a PowerPoint presentation (or any other PC-based application), please bring it on a USB Memory stick and load it on one of the Congress computers in the Speakers' Ready Room at least 1 hours before the start of the session in which you are speaking. The Speakers' Ready Room will be marked clearly with signage at the Congress venue. 

  • Important note for Macintosh users: In order to use a MAC presentations on a PC-compatible computer please note that you need to prepare it according to the instructions below, before bringing it to the Speakers' Ready Room:

  • Use a common font, such as Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana etc. (special fonts might be changed to a default font on a PowerPoint based PC).
  • Insert pictures as JPG files (and not TIF, PNG or PICT - these images will not be visible on a PowerPoint-based PC).
